On Wednesday, January 18, the BWL held its second of three design charettes to gather community input on the look and feel of the screen wall that will surround the new central substation.
There were about 30 people in attendance at the Depot from 6-8 p.m. Bob Ford from LAP Inc. and Ken Jones and his team from Studio [Intrigue] Architects, led participants through a presentation which included a background summary of the project and the evolutions of the live designs that community members created during the first charette.
The third and final charette is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 1 from 6-8 p.m. at the Depot.
In the interim of the Community Charrettes, community members are encouraged to continue the creative process and share their ideas by sending them to Annie Rzepecki, Community Relations Coordinator, at AMR1@lbwl.com. Additionally, creative sessions can be scheduled with Studio Intrigue to support an inclusive process. Those can also be scheduled by contacting Annie Rzepecki.
